We’re true fanatics when it comes to quality. In fact, we make it a point to be able to trace every piece of structural metal that passes through our fabrication plant. If you point out a piece of steel at our shop, we’ll tell you what mill the raw steel came from and what “heat” run it was part of, its exact chemical composition, grade, hardness, ASTM code, you name it. During fabrication, we build in “hold points” throughout the process so that our experienced quality team can perform dimensional checks, inspect welds and confirm each piece exactly matches our stringent specifications.
We also put our money where out mouth is and maintain an independent quality certification through the International Accreditation Service (IAS) under AC472 – Inspection Programs for Manufacturers of Metal Building Systems. Widely considered to be the benchmark for companies that design and manufacture engineered metal building systems, the IAS AC472 program provides a level of confidence that buildings will be designed and manufactured according to code and specifications. Unlike other certifications such as AISC or ISO, the IAS AC472 certification touches on all stages of metal building fulfillment, including design, engineering, detailing, purchasing, fabrication, delivery and customer service. We’re audited twice a year, but we’re committed to quality every day.
